For 88 years, the Minneapolis Urban League has honored the heritage of its mission, celebrated our successes and set goals for the future. Parents of Color Follow Up Town Hall Meeting: Osseo School District
For the first time parents of color in the Osseo School District directly engaged with leaders of the district including Superintendent Dr. Kate McGuire, four school board members, and several other district 279 leaders on May 22nd in Brooklyn Park. Now the follow up begins! The Sunday June 22 meeting is designed to move the process to an action phase!

The People's Party
This has been a historic year for Minnesotans of African Heritage. That's why we are partnering with TakeAction Minnesota, one of our many organizational allies, in celebrating the achievements of this year's Session. Join us at the People's Party on Monday, June 23 from 4–8 p.m at the Harriet Island Pavilion. Make sure to bring the whole family and come celebrate with community members, neighbors and allies.
